How to...Be more efficient in Road Rage
Road Rage is all about speed under control, and to get them big takedown numbers will take some practice also, so here is a few tips on how to have success.
1) Start with a slow class of car; I started with the Compact Prototype as my choice of car. True it is the slowest class of the lot, but you can learn the skills of takedown at a pace where you don't have to worry too much about the traffic.
2) Don't just boost through the level, the most efficient way to play is to sit behind the 3 cars on the track taking them down one at a time. If it means having to brake to go behind them, so be it!
3) Learn the effectiveness of the boost shunt, which is by far the fastest way to takedown a rival car. However make sure you know when to use it and when you need to use a side-slam to achieve a takedown.
4) Memorize the traffic patterns on each track, so you know where the danger spots are, and if need be, be cautious through them.
5) DO NOT try and sit behind all three round a corner to achieve a takedown, it normally ends in tragedy!
Once you learn the basic skills to get high scores, then you can move on to the faster speed classes. I personally choose the Assassin Super now, because it has a lot of speed with excellent control. Apart from that, it's just takes some practice to get used to doing it fluently enough.
