PlanesWalker: Hey everybody, sorry that I’m late with my interview, been busy with real life, so let me make it up to you guys with a interview with Cyberscore’s number 3 player….Kirby54
PlanesWalker: Ok. First, tell us a bit about yourself, like how old you are, where you live and what you like doing, also what kinds of games you play, what other hobbies you have, things you enjoy doing, etc.
Kirby54: First, My name is Jonathan Zablot, I am 20 years. I live in a little French village that is 50 km of Lyon (the second biggest city in France). I would like to become a policeman or a gendarme; I have already passed the requirements to enter. In the meantime, I am currently a fish seller in Champion. I have got many passions like video games, Drawing, listening to music, etc... . I play video games since I was 6 years old (I started with the NES and the game Super Mario Bros 1). Now I am a collector of video games, I have more than 450 games and more than 25 consoles. I have really started competing for records 3 years ago with the magazine Nintendo. After, I had discovered the website Video games Records (VGR) and one year ago Cyberscore. For the music, I listen exclusively Metal (and some Rock), my favorite group is Rammstein, also I love Slipknot, Cradle of filth, Korn, System of a down, Lacuna coil and many others.
And for the drawing, I have been drawing since 2 years soon. My drawings are of my favorite characters of video games: Kirby, Rouge the bat, Luigi, CharlesIII the bat and Coco Bandicoot together in a funny situation (example: Kirby steal the bra of Rouge or a race of Wheelbarrow), I use only traditional techniques for my drawings (felt pen, pencils, pastels etc...)
So, I love drawing and listening to metal. Games aren’t difficult for me to become good at, I like all style of games, and there is only RPG I don't like (too boring)
PlanesWalker: Than you never played Oblivion, am I right Mark or what? So, I can see you have many records, how can you even keep track of them all? Do you ever go back and try to get better times in any of the games you submit to?
Kirby54: Yeah, I have got a lot of submissions, you know, when I first arrived in Cyberscore, I had already got my records I have posted in VGR (more 2000 I think). Why I have got too many records? First, I am a collector of video games, second, I don't want to be first in the records (too long to achieve), I just want my records with more 60 CSP. Third, I am polyvalent in the games, so I quickly get good records
It's rare for me to try again on a good record of mine I try only my bad records (less 50 CSP)
Currently, I have to make and finish records in five games: Shadow the hedgehog, Guitar hero 2 (whoa I love this game, metal powaaa, too bad no Rammstein or Cradle of filth), Daigasso Band brothers (Thanks again TheBrain), Burnout3 and Toca3
In CS, I want to play 100 games and submit 10000 submissions, when I have finished this games, I will buy Monkey ball 1 (the last GC game I haven't got) and I will buy a wii
One more thing, I spend a lot of times to make my many records. And when I don't play, I make drawings; I need more hours to do one draw
*more than 5 hours*
PlanesWalker: Wow, and I thought I had a lot of games. What would your Top 5 games be in Cyberscore? The games that you really try to be the best at?
Kirby54: The first game is of course F zero gx, my favorite GC game, the second is the wario ware Inc (favorite GBA game), Advance Wars DS (Favorite DS game), Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (Rouge the baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat), and SSBM
For f zero gx, It's in no snaking and space flying
I don't like those techniques.
PlanesWalker: What is your favorite platform for a game? Do you like games based on Time or scores?
Kirby54: I have not favorite platform, I am able to love a game and hate another in a same platform (f zero gx and Gran turismo), me, in one game, I search for the originality (this is why I love the series of wario ware and the music games like donkey konga, daigasso and guitar hero)
For the time and the score, I prefer scores, above all in sonic games, SSBM, and others games
PlanesWalker: I agree with the score being better than time based, but that’s just my opinion. Any records that you are very proud of?
Kirby54: I am not proud of one of my records, because I know one day somebody will beat one of my best records. However, I am proud to be in the top three in the mainboard of Cyberscore.
PlanesWalker: Congratulations by the way must be nice to be up there. What will be the next game(s) you plan on submitting to in the near future?
Kirby54: Hum, I am going to make records in Elite beat agents, burnout 3, tiger woods 2007, rayman wii, monkey ball 1 and many others
PlanesWalker: I guess I will see you on EBA’s scoreboard. Any Tips, final words?
Kirby54: The best tip is the motivation, with the motivation, you can play a long time and you can be better and make great records. And I want to thanks some people.
I would like to thanks all the VGR team: Magicbart the webmaster, Arcade2000, Ganon36, ffdek, Sonic 2903, Kloh, TripleHHH, Laoulou, Kazy and the others. Without them, I don't think I will be the third best gamer in Cyberscore, and the best French gamer. Also I'd like to thanks all my rivals: Arcade2000, TripleHHH, Sonic2903, TheBrain, Packattack, Iowa and others. Special thanks to Gessy the hedgehog, the team of Cyberscore, PlanesWalker (for the interview) etc...
And finally, a very big thanks to my eternal rival.....Spinal22, my twin brother…………………….Oh, one more thing, a little pub lol, if you want to see my drawings of my favorites video games characters : Kirby, Rouge the bat, Luigi, CharlesIII the bat and Coco bandicoot, come in my Deviantart : http://kirby-54.deviantart.com/
………………………………… Oops, I have forgotten to give a tip, If you want to be great in video games, don't abandon them, never a game or a record. Finally, always respect your rivals and yours opponents.
PlanesWalker: Thank you so much for doing this, and you forgot to mention one person Floan, who requested me to interview Kirby54, I am currently interviewing another member due to a request so feel free to ask me to interview any member (as long they are at least top 3 at a game please if it’s a large game top 5) Also if you have any questions for the person you want interviewed feel free to let me know, thanks again guys for reading and Keep on Gaming! Remember if it ain’t broke, break it
